Henri Bacon, est un chasseur et un trappeur originaire de la communauté innu de Pessamit. Son territoire de chasse est situé dans le secteur de la rivière aux Sables. À l’âge de 13 ans, il accompagne son oncle pour sa première expérience de trappe. Ils se déplacent en canot et logent sous la tente. Tout naturellement, il a vécu de chasse et de trappe durant une grande partie de sa vie. Il a également été guide de chasse dans le secteur de la rivière Shipshaw.
HENRI BACON (1901 – 1997)
Henri Bacon was a hunter and trapper born in the Innu community of Pessamit. His hunting territory was in the Rivière aux Sables sector. He went trapping for the first time at the age of 13 with his uncle, travelling by canoe and sleeping in a tent. He lived from hunting and trapping most of his life and was also a hunting guide in the Shipshaw River sector.
